現地校の様子を伝えるメールが届きました。
School has started this week. There are international students such as Koreans and Chinese and so on.
The orientation was held on Thursday and Friday. And we learned a lot about this school, NZ and Maori.
On the first day, I ate lunch with international students. Since the second day I have been going to school in uniform.
When I ate lunch with my buddy and her friends, I was nervous. I couldn’t catch everything they were talking about, but it was a lot of fun!
I’d like to be able to understand their conversation by the time I go back to Japan.
＜抄訳＞
現地校での生活が始まりました。学校には韓国人や中国人などの留学生がいます。
木曜日と金曜日にはオリエンテーションが開かれ、学校やニュージーランド、マオリについていろいろと学びました。
初日には留学生とお昼を食べ、２日目からは現地校の制服で登校しています。
バディや友だちが言っていることを全部は理解できないので緊張しますが、お昼を食べながらお話をするのはとても楽しいです。
日本に帰国するまでには、わかるようになりたいです。
