生徒たちは現地での生活にすっかり慣れて、友だちと一緒に楽しい時間を過ごしているようです。
そんな生徒から写真とメールが届きました。
Some of my friends are interested in Japanese. One of them always says to me, ‘Konnichiwa!’ when I meet her. She is so nice and I love her. Another friend has hosted many Japanese students, so she knows a lot about Japan and she showed me many Japanese writing utensils and stickers given by the students.
Last Monday, we had a special event of ‘hinamatsuri’ at school. Some of us wore yukata. We showed origami, calligraphy and made green tea. Many people came and enjoyed it. My buddy folded a paper crane and she liked it a lot.

日本語に興味を持っている友だちがいて、いつも「こんにちは！」と声をかけてくれます。とても親切で大好きです。日本人の生徒を受け入れたことのある友だちは日本のことをよく知っていて、もらった文房具などを見せてくれました。 先週の月曜日には学校で「ひな祭り」が行われ、何人かで浴衣を着ました。折り紙や書道、茶道を披露しました。大勢の人に楽しんでもらえました。私のバディは折り紙で鶴を作って、とても喜んでいました。
