We had “Athletic Day”at school.
There are four houses called Wilson, Bowen, Scott and Shackleton.
I'm a member of Wilson and the color of my house is green.
We wore green face paint.
I wanted to participate in the school event with face painting, so my dream came true and I was so happy!
I did the activity called shot put and discus.
In both activities, the participants threw heavy balls or discs as far as possible.
My friend Anika cheered me on as I tried my best to throw it.

学校では運動会がありました。
「ウィルソン」、「ボーエン」、「スコット」、「シャクルトン」という４つの組があります。
私は「ウィルソン」のメンバーで、ハウスの色は緑です。
そこで、私たちは緑のフェイスペイントをしました。
フェイスペイントをして学校行事に参加してみたいと思っていたので、夢が叶い、とても嬉しかったです。
私は砲丸投げと円盤投げという競技に出場しました。
どちらも重いボールや円盤をできるだけ遠くまで投げる活動です。
私が全力で投げようとしている時、友達のアニカが応援してくれました。
