お知らせ

　　Today was Valentine Day. My host father told me that in NZ, people give presents, e.g. flowers and chocolate, their lovers, friends and family on Valentine Day. Incidentally, White Day on March 14th does not exist in NZ. I thought it prevent breaking up a couple because of forgetting the presents on March 14th. In the school, we ate pizzas at the international students' house during the break 2. We also celebrated the Japanese international student's birthday. The birthday cake was multicolored. I have seen such colored cake while I read comic book of Hetalia. That was right !! The feast was so delicious. After school, I was given a handmade flower by my host sister. I never dreamed that I would be given a flower from her.

〈訳〉
今日はバレンタインデーでした。ホストファザーによると、ニュージーランドではバレンタインデーに恋人や友人、家族に花やチョコレートなどのプレゼントを贈るのだそうです。ちなみに3月14日のホワイトデーはニュージーランドにはありません。私は、3月14日にプレゼントを忘れてカップルが破局するのを防ぐためかなと思いました！　学校では、休み時間にインターナショナルハウスでピザを食べました。また、日本人留学生の誕生日もお祝いしました。バースデーケーキは色とりどり。ヘタリアの漫画を読んでいたときに、このような色のケーキを見たことがありましたが、その通りでした！　ごちそうはとてもおいしかったです。放課後、ホストシスターから手作りのお花をもらいました。まさかホストシスターからお花をもらえるなんて夢にも思いませんでした。
